Insurance Awareness 101

Insurance Awareness 101

Summer is finally upon us! Hallelujah! The consistent warmer weather with sunshine sprinkled in is a welcome relief to what we all have endured during the past several months. June brings us Father’s Day along with the first official day of summer!!  There is another official day in June. June 28 is National Insurance Awareness Day!  I’m not kidding!  I did not make that up!  I honestly do not know who did…..probably an insurance guy or girl! Haha!  Nowadays there is a national day for just about everything. You can search all of the current national days at nationaldaycalendar.com

So, what should you do on National Insurance Awareness Day?  Make a cake and celebrate!  Why not?  It’s a great excuse!!  Click here for a yummy cake recipe from allrecipes.com.  This day is also a great day to think about your insurance and review your current insurance policies to make sure that you have adequate coverage for your insurance needs.

                                   Insurance Awareness 101:

  • Has anything changed in your family since the policy was written?
  • Are you planning to buy a new home or car?
  • Do you have any new drivers in the house?
  • Do you need an umbrella policy?
  • Do you need to add any endorsements to your homeowners policy?

You do not need an Insurance Awareness Day to stop by our office or give us a call.  Any day is a great day to contact Peck and Wood Insurance, 217 E. 10th Street,  in downtown Anderson.
