The definition of farming includes growing almost any kind of crops such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, grapes for wine, sod, and the raising of almost any kind of animal such as livestock, poultry, bees, and aquaculture.
The farm must be operated as a business to qualify for farm insurance. The policy is much like the homeowners policy with coverage’s A, B, C, and D, with added coverage for scheduled and unscheduled farm personal property as well as coverage for other farm structures.
Farm casualty (liability) coverage’s include bodily injury and property damage, personal and advertising injury, and Med Pay.
